Managed the production of Take 5 campaign materials to promote annual mammography screening among California’s hard-to-reach women. Materials in English, Spanish, and Chinese were distributed to women, healthcare providers, community health centers, and social workers.
To further promote mammography screenings, I wrote and maintained web pages of breast cancer resources for healthcare providers, consumers, and underserved populations. Hundreds of Take 5 CDs were distributed to physician offices, mammography centers, and manage care organizations throughout California, often in collaboration with stakeholders, and thousand of files were downloaded from Lumetra’s website.
The Take 5 campaign contributed to approximately 60,700 more female Medicare beneficiaries (aged 50+ years) receiving a biennial mammogram. For years after the campaign, Lumetra continued to receive requests and praise for Take 5 posters.
